Following the success of the Singapore outlet, Omotesando Koffee's new London outlet in the vibrant West End area opened a year after. The separation of space, the symmetry and proportion, the detail in the structures and sincerity towards the materials convey a strong Japanese design aesthetic, apart from a contemporary minimalist style. The “coffee cube” is framed by intricately and precisely crafted timber screens and panels all around, forming a layered, textured composition that visually projects the interior into the street where it is best appreciated in full scale.
