For Japanese specialty coffee brand Omotesando Koffee's first Singapore outlet in a shopping arcade of a mixed-used development, the challenge was to create a fully functional coffee shop in a small space, while maintaining a distinct design identity. Crafted elements, carefully curated materials and deliberate structural forms create a defined space that immerses the customer within. Natural ash wood screens and panels form the coffee shop's backdrop – their proportions and lines playing up the impression of a three dimensional perspective, essentially grounded by the central iconic “coffee cube”.
