The Carpmael Apartment was conceived as a warm, personal sanctuary, a welcoming first home. The design strategy focused on infusing a sterile, new-build space with rich texture and color, maintaining a balance between character and simplicity.

Teak serves as the grounding element throughout the residence, utilized in wall paneling, bespoke joinery, and custom wardrobes to provide depth and a sense of calm, lived-in maturity. This warmth is thoughtfully punctuated by a curated palette: soft blue upholstery, verdant green walls in the study, and subtle, patterned wallpaper in the dressing area. Complemented by warm, atmospheric lighting, these elements introduce color without overwhelming the senses.

The result is a compact footprint that feels both generous and deeply personal, an elegant home that is as comfortable as it is refined.
