Set within the Setsu Hotel in Niseko, Luke’s Alpine Club is an intimate 1,000 sqft restaurant that brings together the charm of classic alpine ski huts, the warmth of American lodges and the precision of Japanese craft.

A raw stone wall separates the bar and kitchen from the dining room, giving the compact space a strong architectural anchor. In contrast, the dining room is wrapped in Hinoki wood, leather and warm lighting, creating a softer and more intimate atmosphere.

The design uses honest materials, clean lines and carefully detailed joinery to create an unpretentious fine dining experience. Rich but understated, the space feels connected to the mountain setting while framing views of the surrounding landscape and Mount Yōtei.
